Curl Product Process
how, when, and why to choose the right products for your tightly curly clients
Products are the tools we use to bring our clients desires to life.
In order to know what tools to use, we have to understand how they work and who they work on.
A Phillips head screwdriver cannot do the job of a flat head. Till now many Curl Artists have been using what they had on hand to create styling results for their tight curl clients.
At Cut It Kinky, Curl Product Process means not relying on the products exclusively from one brand or finding our client styling solutions on YouTube. Being results driven requires us to work with multiple product lines that meet or exceed the expectations of our clients. Our commitment to being brand agnostic is being loyal to brands that are loyal to our clients results.
Understanding what it takes to achieve the style you’re seeking is required before selecting products. And it’s not a trial and error process. The ingredient list tells you everything you need to know. Knowing what’s available on the market and how it can be used on clients with tighter textures is a priority for us.
In Curl Product Process we sit down with 20+ curl pro’s at Hazel O. Salon in Alexandria, VA to chat all things product and styling. This course includes a breakdown of everything we use on our backbar to achieve dope curls on every curl pattern.
As a bonus we also included a through consultation and Curl Rehab process demonstration taken during our Tight Curl Mastery live class in Memphis, TN in order for you to see the products and the process in action.
*THIS IS A COURSE DESIGNED FOR LICENSED COSMETOLOGISTS, LICENSED NATURAL HAIR STYLISTS, LICENSED BARBERS, AND COSMETOLOGY STUDENTS. IF YOU ARE A CONSUMER PLEASE VISIT WWW.BLACKCURLMAGIC.COM TO SEE OUR CONSUMER OFFERINGS*
